The Kulturbüro Muggenhof is one of the 11 "Kulturläden", sociocultural centres in Nuremberg. It is part of the city government. It was opened in 2016 at a former industrial area and unites different cultural institutions, such as the Musikschule Nürnberg, Kinder Kunst Raum, Akademie für Schultheater und Theaterpädagogik and Centro Espanol. 

The main tasks of the cultural work are sociocultural offers in the district, innovative and traditional cultural offers, enabling connections and encounters between district citizens, artists, communities, interested people and institutions. A concrete example of the kind of work that is being produced is the district event that unites all organisations and people in the area. Moreover the Kulturbüro Muggenhof is the reference point of contact for information and cooperation for interested citizens and institutions. Kulturbüro Muggenhof is also the center for theatre performances, concerts, workshops, lectures and exhibitions.
