Panagiotis Kompotis
With an interdisciplinary background, ranging from public relations and marketing to creative writing and cultural education, Panagiotis is dedicated to developing arts-based projects that promote cultural diversity and challenge racism and discrimination.
He holds a BA in Management Science and Marketing and an MA in International Public Relations. Driven by his passion for literature and education, he has organized creative writing workshops for primary and secondary school children in Greece, Austria and Germany.
Joining START as a Fellow in 2019, and working with .lkj) Landesvereinigung kulturelle Kinder- und Jugendbildung Sachsen-Anhalt in Magdeburg), Panagiotis continues to strengthen his project management skills and puts them into practice in the creation of school programs and workshops that empower the school community to build culturally responsive classrooms. He believes that teachers and educators can use the arts to create inclusive schools that prepare students to be open, respectful and positive towards diverse cultural groups. Panagiotis is dedicated to contributing to this cause.
