Eleonora Siarava

2015/16 Thessaloniki

Eleonora Siarava is a choreographer, performer, and researcher. She holds an MA in “Dance Making and Performance” (Distinction) from Coventry University and a BA in Psychology. She has attended classes at the Choreographic Centre of La Rochelle (France) and she completed the program of the California Institute of Arts “Creating Site-Specific Dance and Performance Works”. Currently is a PhD Candidate researching "The choreographic synthesis and the possibilities provided by the Psychology of Perception and Neuroaesthetics". She is the artistic director of Per_Dance, a platform of choreographic research that experiments with the application of Perception Theories to Choreography.

Perform[d]ance

Perform[d]ance e.V. is a regional dance center located in Northern Germany (founded in 2001). The association's dance artists and choreographers facilitate dance in all educational settings and reach out to the rural communities. They give children and young people as well as adults the opportunity to experience contemporary dance and interdisciplinary arts. Since the beginning, the major focus has been on performances and productions. The aim is to connect to the world and deal with its challenges through creative movement.
