Bazaar of Ideas: Shifting Perspectives
START Fellowship Celebration 2020
The START program is coming to a conclusion with the upcoming Fellowship Celebration & Bazaar of Ideas. This is why, at the fifth and ultimate Fellowship Celebration of the program, we weave together all the different perspectives of sociocultural practices into a multifocal dialog. Our guests will be introduced to this year’s START fellows and their respective work, as well as the overall contribution of the program to the sociocultural sector in Greece.
The covid-19 crisis has made the gathering of people difficult, if not impossible. Everyone had to shift their point of view on events and meetups. Within the limitations and restrictions available we have however decided to create the proper space for a safe event structured with measures as to accommodate a multitude of experiences while keeping healthy and safe. One of those measures is that we will limit the participation, offering some parts of the event upon invitation and some open to the public.
The 2-day event will kick off with a festive celebration and the opening of the Bazaar of Ideas exhibition on September 9, starting at 19.30 hrs. This event will be by invitation only. On September 10, the program continues from 17 to 22 hrs with the exhibition and the start of the Unlearning Talks series. Special tours and presentations will immerse you into the world of social impact. This second day is open to the public.
The event will take place at the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki on September 9 and 10, 2020. Admission is free and you can register here!
We invite all those who want to shift their perspective to join us and actively participate in initiatives that change our societies.
